An important book for my creative journey

Books and ressources

I bought this book by “chance” in April 2006 on a visit to London. It has since been a trusted companion and inspiration.

I clearly remember my first browsing – I was totally intrigued by the varied use of sketchbooks and all the textile information. I have had sketchbooks before, but not like this…

I also remember thinking, “wish it could be me, but how can it…”

And so the years have passed and now I have begun my textile journey in earnest and I am still grateful for the book. It has been read, reread and pondered over. 🙂

And now it will have company of numerous sketchbooks filled with mark making and textile experiments, so happy 🙂

A few snapshots if you are not familiar with the book.
